As announced during the last TOPO-EUROPE meeting in Euroforum Infantes in El Escorial, Spain, the 5th TOPO-EUROPE meeting will be held in Heidelberg, Germany, Villa Bosch, Klaus Tschira Foundation, during 15-17 October 2009.

NEW: Geological Excursion organized on 18 October 2009: Geology and Wine of the Upper Rhine Graben. Organized by prof. Joerg F.W.Negendank. Details can be downloaded here. Registered participants can still subscribe to this excursion by sending an e-mail to Liviu Matenco.

The available travel grants have been already allocated: Travel grants are offered by the ESF TOPO-EUROPE programme, aimed at European young researchers (post-doctoral scientists and Ph.D. students), to support their active participation to the 5th TOPO-EUROPE Workshop, 15-17th October 2009, Heidelberg. Key deadlines

• 15 March 2009 – preliminary registration of solicited presentations.
